A little of each town’s story

Ryoma 1865 non-alcoholic beer

From: A seaside station and slow time in Futami

The can on the terrace railing is Ryoma 1865, a non-alcoholic beer brewed from 100 percent malt.

This moment in the journey

A terrace in the sea breeze

Back at the house: a wooden home behind a wooden fence, with a deck terrace looking down on the sea. I set a can on the railing and let the pleasant sea breeze blow over me.

From the tatami room, its sliding doors open wide, I could see the terrace and the sea through the glass. I could only hear birds singing and the sound of the wind. Beyond the houses by the shore, distant islands faded into the haze.
